Business Office Manager - Senior Living Community
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21/hour

We are currently hiring a Business Office Manager for a respected senior living community in Houston, TX. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is passionate about healthcare finance and ready to make a direct impact on operations, compliance, and resident satisfaction.
What You'll Do
* Oversee billing, accounts receivable, and collection activities for the facility
* Supervise business office personnel involved in billing and collections
* Drive performance toward financial goals including AR and cash collections
* Collaborate with department heads to ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies
* May also oversee accounts payable and payroll functions
* Serve as a point of communication for resident financial matters, supporting both internal teams and external partners
* Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 2 years of experience in third-party billing and reimbursement, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
* Background in skilled nursing, skilled rehabilitation, or long-term care (LTC) required
* Proficient with Epic EMR system
* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Solid understanding of financial processes in a healthcare setting
* Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, hospice collections, and month-end closing
* Excellent attention to detail, leadership, and communication skills
* Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
* Proven ability to build positive working relationships across clinical and administrative teams
