Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a creative and data-driven Marketing Manager – Email & In-App to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of their email marketing and in-app customer journey initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with high-volume email campaigns—targeting audiences in the hundreds of thousands—and demonstrate a strong command of data segmentation, performance tracking, and continuous campaign optimization. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a results-oriented mindset within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategy and execution of all email marketing campaigns, from concept through deployment and performance analysis.
  • Manage large-scale, data-driven campaigns with segmentation strategies targeting hundreds of thousands of recipients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop engaging, on-brand email content and scheduling plans.
  • Refine and manage in-app customer journey touchpoints to enhance user engagement and retention.
  • Apply a test-and-learn approach to campaign optimization using A/B testing, audience targeting, and behavioral triggers.
  • Analyze campaign data to extract actionable insights that inform future communications and marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing both email marketing and in-app communication strategies at scale.
  • Demonstrated success with high-volume email campaigns and complex data segmentation.
  • Strong creative skills paired with analytical rigor and a data-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp or similar platforms) and campaign best practices.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS and tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver or comparable editors.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting and performance analysis.
  • Basic HTML/CSS proficiency required.
