Our client is a large aerospace company . They are looking for an Oracle Report Developer to join their team. This role is a DIRECT HIRE / FULL TIME position. Position will be ONSITE . Position will be working onsite at Englewood, CO.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an Oracle Report Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom reports, dashboards, and data extracts from Oracle Fusion Cloud and other enterprise applications to support evolving business needs. This includes utilizing a range of Oracle reporting tools such as BI Publisher to create complex data models and templates, Oracle Reports to build and modify traditional report outputs, and OBIEE/OTBI to develop interactive dashboards and analytics. Previous experience as a Technical Analyst, Report Developer, Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or ETL Developer will be applicable to the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and data extracts from Oracle Fusion Cloud and other applications to meet business requirements.
  • Utilize Oracle reporting tools such as:
  • Oracle BI Publisher (formerly XML Publisher): Develop complex layouts, data models, and templates.
  • Oracle Reports: Create and modify traditional Oracle Reports (RPT files).
  • Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE/OTBI): Design and build analyses, dashboards, and subject areas.
  • SQL Developer/Toad: Write complex SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather and understand reporting requirements.
  • Analyze existing Oracle data models to identify appropriate tables, views, and relationships for report development.
  • Optimize report performance through efficient SQL queries, indexing, and data model design.
  • Perform thorough testing of developed reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications.
  • Manage report deployment and migration across different environments (development, test, production).
  • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for existing reports.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for all developed reports, including design specifications, data sources, and change logs.
  • Adhere to best practices for report development, version control, and security.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Report Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL is essential.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle BI Publisher (XML Publisher) is a must, including data model creation, RTF/eText/XPT template design, and bursting.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud data structures and schemas across various modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, HRMS).
  • Experience with performance tuning of SQL queries and reports.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Applications development standards and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) or Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) for Cloud applications.
  • Experience with other reporting tools or data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
