Diesel Technician Level III

Location: Tacoma, WA
Schedule: 4 days per week/10 hours per day (6:30am – 5:00pm)
No On Call Rotation
Weekends Off
Base Salary: $32.16 to $48.22
Base salary rate commensurate with experience
Sign On Bonus: $5,000 - $10,000

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician III to join our team specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business (Sumner, WA).

The Key Responsibilities for this position are:

Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
Maintain own tools

Required Experience and Qualifications

5+ years of experience
Ability to OH independently with limited to no supervision
Ability to work on larger, more complicated engine rebuilds
Internal engine repair experience
Proficiency with aftertreatment repairs
Fuel system & air handling repairs experience
Troubleshooting, diagnostics & scanning tool experience
Chassis Repair Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary: $32.16 to $48.22
Base salary rate commensurate with experience
