~We’re Hiring: Sales and Design Specialist~
**Job Type:** Full-Time | Contract
**Salary:** Starting at \$60,000 annually
850 A Tile Studio is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales and Design Specialist / Tile Consultant to join our team. As part of a high-end tile design showroom, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional customer service and design expertise for residential renovations and custom projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and manage relationships with residential builders, designers, and walk-in clients
* Guide customers through the tile selection and layout process
* Complete necessary paperwork including selection sheets, pricing documents, and installation drawings
* Maintain showroom presentation, assist with merchandising, and label incoming samples
* Attend showroom meetings and training sessions to stay current on product knowledge
* Work collaboratively with the team to meet and exceed client expectations
**Qualifications:**
* Minimum 2 year of sales experience in a design showroom
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Illustrator
* Strong understanding of tile, natural stone, ceramic, trim, and LTL freight
* Excellent visual design sense and color recall
* Professional demeanor, punctuality, and attention to detail
* Ability to work well in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment
* Strong math and pricing skills
* Fluent in English
**Schedule:**
* Monday to Friday, 8-hour daytime shifts
* No nights or weekends
**Compensation and Benefits:**
* Starting at \$50,000 per year
