Consultant

Seeking an experienced Ceramics & Materials Science Consultant with deep technical knowledge and industry connections in high purity ceramics . This is a unique opportunity to work with a leader in advanced materials and help drive innovation in ceramic casting technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance on ceramic forming techniques and defect troubleshooting.
• Develop slurry formulations , identify/implement characterization techniques, achieve desired green body strength using high-purity inorganic binders .
• Evaluate and optimize green body strength , porosity, and other critical properties in relation to particle size distribution .
• Support development and troubleshooting in low pressure casting , controlled drying , and high temperature sintering .
• Consult on monolithic microporous ceramic development and performance.
• Recommend and assess processing equipment including ball mills, casting and molding systems, drying, and sintering furnaces .
• Facilitate connections with casting companies, mold fabricators , and relevant production partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD in Ceramics, Glass Science, or Materials Science .
• Hands-on experience in both R&D and production environments —able to bridge innovation with manufacturability.
• Deep understanding of ceramic and quartz machining , equipment design, and process control.
• Well-versed in current and emerging ceramic processing technologies and industry trends .
• Strong network within the ceramics and advanced materials sectors.
